Please keep DeAnna in your prayers

DeAnna has been having a lot of physical issues since November. She is in a lot of pain from Scoliosis (the odd thing about the scoliosis is that the curvature degree is very small - at least in July - but her spine is twisting) and then she got Mono at the beginning of November and has never fully recovered. The doctors are past saying this is a post mono thing though.

We have also had a follow up with the gastro doctor on Wednesday the 13th. (for those of you who do not know she has been throwing up for a day once every other week and lately it has been every week.) He has decided that it is time to do a endoscopy. :-( She will be scheduled for surgery soon. The will put a scope down her throw and go into her stomach and they will do a colonoscopy. It will be a 4 hour surgery. She is glad she will be asleep and she is tired of being sick every week. Even when she is not throwing up she is sick several days a week just because she does not feel well. We did not start her home schooling this year until November so we are behind any way but, now she misses at least a days worth of work every week from being sick.

A week and a half ago DeAnna was telling me that her chest was hurting. Not inside but it hurt to touch the skin. So we stopped in at the Chiropractors office so he could examine her. He said that her scoliosis has changed drastically in a week. She was just in his office the week before and she was not like that. Her rib cage is pushing out on the right side. So we were referred to Children's orthopedic and we were very blessed to get a first available appointment with Dr. Crawford (Benji's doctor). I was excited to get him. I did not think that he was taking new patients and in fact the scheduling lady said that she did not think that he was taking new patients either. So, she was just as surprised as I was to find out that the first available appointment was with him! We go to see him on Monday, February 25th.
