The birds nest.....

Our front door is a very busy place lately. It is not like we go out of it in the morning and don't come back in until night. We are through the door probably 10 - 15 times a day between the 4 of us. Now, when would a bird have time to build a nest in my flowers hanging on my door????

Here is my flowers, they look a little rugged but,
I went to straighten them out and
look what I found in the next picture.

Now when I found it there were no eggs in it
but, now there are 3.

It is amazing what you will find when you least expect it.
By the way, the bird is a red winged black bird. We have lots of them because we have cat tails in our pond and they usually nest in there. The male is pretty all black with a red spot on each wing. The female is not so pretty and just a little brown bird.
